I've only found it recently. Really good to see it. Nice to see an online community of like-minded people. Was shopping for bits and pieces when I came across it. Hope you find the answers you are looking for. I'm afraid I can't help in this case. Sorry.

Hi everyone, I agree Sugilite and Moldavite are both used to ease the effects of Aspergers. Unfortunatly I do not know a specific treatment, but I do have a son with the condition. I find it helps to get him involved in things that I do. We recently made a dream bag which we added a piece of Moldavite, Lavender, chamomile, vervain and a few others, along with a tiny figure of an angel, he pops the bag under his pillow to help him sleep. Also he makes his own `sleepy incense`. I know Aspergers differs from child to child so it wont always be possible to get them involved, but if you can its worth a try. Good luck to us all! love and blessings )o(

Brightest blessings, I work with the Angels and i find all children whether Autistic or not really respond to the gentler crystals such as Amethyst, Kyanite, Celestite, Petalite, Selenite and clear quartz.Have you tried playing a relaxing cd to them and let them handle and play with the crystals?they love to look for the rainbows in them, and this helps to focus the children and relax them. As Wizadora says making a little dream bag is a brilliant idea as this gives the child something to add to his confidence and security.
Blessed be moonsprite )O(

There are no treatments for Asperger's Syndrome, alternative or otherwise, at this point in time. The only thing anybody can do is try to treat the symptoms and quirks of the condition, and this may not be successful due to their cause.
Also note that Asperger's differs from *person* to *person*. It is a lifelong condition, and there are many adults with it such as myself.
Routine is supreme. People with Asperger's most frequently need structure in their lives. Do not be surprised if they freak out when you change something. Introduce changes, new events, unexpected appointments, unscheduled trips out of the house, gradually. Over as long of a time period as possible. Remind them gently.
Do not expect them to react immediately to requests. Give them time to process what you have said.
"Looking for rainbows" is, while at first sounding childish, actually along the right lines. Sensory stimulation that is not overwhelming is wonderful. This can come in the form of textures, like a particular fabric (can you get a small cushion out of this for them?), or colour and light (a lava lamp, or other safer options), or even sometimes sound.
And understand, autistic people feel the world differently to you. If they refuse a certain item of clothing, or hate to shower, or hate busy streets, or won't eat a random food, or scream when you gently tug their arm, remember, sensory perception is everything for them. Just as these senses can calm them and causes pleasure, sound and texture and vision can all cause pain and fear.
