I reckon the easiest thing to do is make something like a charm bag or mojo hand or whatever you want to call it.

basically, get a square of material, put the charged ingredients in the middle, bring the corners and sides into the middle to make a bundle and tie it close with a piece of string, then charge the bundle, best in the light of a full moon etc. Good thing about using string means you can incorporate a bit of cord magick in there tooLaugh

as for the ingredients to put in it herbs and/or crystals are the best things to use and any symbols you want to use drawn un small slips of paper and put in there as well.

The herbs I'd suggest (from Cunnigham) are:

to stengthen mental powers: caraway; celery; eyebright; grape; horehound; lily of the valley; mace; mustard; periwinkle; rosemary; rue; spearmint; walnut

to instill peace: dulse; eryngo; gardenia; lavender; loosstrife; meadowsweet; morning glory; myrtle; olive; passion flower; pennyroyal; scullcap; vervain; violet

to promote wisdom: bodhi; iris; peach; sage; sunflower

basil, gardenia, lilac and narcissus oil can be used for peace and honeysuckle, lilac and rosemary oil for mental powers

use a combiniation of whatever herbs you can get from each section, number magick can be used to, so you can use a specific number of herbs from each area to incorporate numbers

crystals for wisdom (according to my illustrated guide lol) are: azurite; yellow calcite; emerald; fluorite; chrysolite; sapphire; labradorite; lapis lazuli and turqoise and whatever other crystals you can think of

so charge them all with your intent, tie them into the bundle (fabric of an appropriate colour), do some cord magick with the string if you want, tie it up, put it in the light of the moon/sun, or charge it with a chant, which ever you prefer, then it should be good to go, you'll have to charge it about once a month though, easiest thing to do is do it in the light of the full moon.

I'd wait till the 1st feb as mercury is retrograde till then and it's a bad time to start major projects etc, so it'll have a big boost if done on the 1st because mercury starts going forward again and it'll give it some oomph lol!

hope that helps and wasn't too wordy Blushing I have a habit of getting carried away explaining stuff lol!

Blessings

I've found a spell for study and concentration. I've never used it myself, but it may be helpful for you:

This is a herbal and colour formula spell which also calls on the powers of Bridget, the goddess of poetry, or on Sarasvati, the Hindu goddess of knowledge. Your sachet will be purple for the former and white for the latter.

You will need:
2 parts rosemary
2 parts basil
1 part caraway seeds
1 part dried rind of citrus fruit
Small bowl to mix the herbs
Small cloth bag
Silver thread or cord

Combine the herbs thoroughly while chanting either:
Bridget, Brighde fashioner of words
Help me now as I seek your aid
Let me now bring your honour
In what I have to say today

Or for Sarasvati:
Sarasvati, divine consort of Brahma
Mistress of knowledge
Teach me to use words wisely and well
My doubts and fears I pray you dispel.

Now put the herbs in the bag, tying it securely with the silver cord. Place the sachet somewhere within your work area where you can see it.

You should find that simply by focusing on the sachet you are able to free your mind from distractions and find inspiration as you study.

Hopefully this works for you, and good luck! xoxo

Hi

As a computer geek, whose taught all sorts of people how to use them and knows all sorts of software tips and tricks, I know that the best way to relax is to just see the computer, and the course, as a tool. It is all too often the case where people get uptight and feel they should already know how to use them and that all the jargon is a foreign language. Make sure you are in the right frame of mind before you start, do 20 minutes and stop for a break. 20 minute chunks of learning are all you need to get the information you are trying to learn. Any more and you overload and start feeling stressed.

Try having some incense burning nearby and also have a cuppa to hand. I have found that chocolate is also very, very helpful at times like this.

Blessed Be

Tastra

The packaging was great and the pentegram met more than my expectations. I have just ordered another one for my Grandaughter and will definately be recommending you to my friends. Many thanks
