my mother had the gift. she could use a set of playing cards! she could use any mediun of interpretation and take to it immediately. I was drawn to tarot card befor I new she'd even heard of them let alone used them, and worked in that field! when I told her about my new interest she when ballistic. because she had a bad experience once and terned her back on them and all other methods. My Q is did I inherite my gift from my mum? If so shoud I listen to her because it was passed down 2 to me from her. Or was I drawn for my own ability. It has always been a talent of mine befor the cards I always had a knack for knowing things and especially when danger is near. any advice would be much appreciated. thank you, blessed be x

Dear Charlie, I had just read your post and I thought that I would put my own experiances in. Everyone has this gift, but some are more intune with it than others. I am a 4th generation psychic, for some it is something that is passed down, its in our blood, and others, it may not seem to be passed down in genertions, but some can be more sensitive to these gifts. I started learning abou mine before I turned 17, now I work as a psychic, medium, and empath, and even though I have these gifts, I have found that a certain lifestyle comes with it, and I could never be happier. On the other hand, developing your gifts further and learning more can be a great and insightful experiance, but sometimes it is hard to deal with, sometimes others don't agree, and it hurts more hen it is friends and or family, rather than people you barely know. Tarot is also a great tool, I own 5 decks and use them all often, playing cards can also be used, but there are so many psychic tools out there, it is fun to learn about. If anyone is reading this, and if you would like to learn more about this subject, please feel free to ask at anytime! Love&Light

Hi Charlie Nicholas says we are all born with a varying degree of psychic ability, but I think I was at the back of que when it was handed out - I'm about as psychic as a lump of coal. I do think it's a wonderful gift though, to be able to comfort and guide others when they are lost and vulnerable must really give a feeling of achievement. I don't know, but I should imagine there is a flip side to the gift, in as much as you can't pick and choose what you sense and feel. It is probably quite disturbing to pick up on things you don't want to know - and I know of a few people that have turned their back on their ability. Perhaps at times like that, the assurance and support of another psychic would help. I would say you have a wonderful gift that you have probably inherited, you help some very needy people, but be aware of the downside and seek out assistance if it gets too much. Bright blessings

im not sure wether it was passed down to you throught your mother as i have the same ability as you i no when something bad it going to happen or have flashes of somthing that has happend or is going to happen and the only person in my family thats a witch is my nan and she cannot use tarots but i can use them perfectly. your not actually born with the ability in most cases you learn to use them as the same you learn to use spells to help yourself and others. because if you think about it think the first time you done a spell you wernt every sure what you where doing or what to expect its the same with divination i hope this helps blessed be x-scorpio-x
