Hi, I thought i'd introduce myself. I am a 33 year old female taurus who has always loved tarot, crystals etc but never really got into it fully. Sometimes i dont touch my cards for months I'm getting drawn to my cards more at the mo but never seem to have time what with working and looking after my 10yr old step son. I am so pleased to have found this site. Any hints/tips to help me concentrate and find the time to get to know my crystals and cards?!

Merry meet and a warm welcome Tink, So glad you found this site, every one who contributes is very friendly. Tarot cards, humm. You are probably at a time in your life when you need some support hence finding the site and feeling drawn to them more frequently. Is it possible for you to get up a little earlier before your family in the morning or does your step son have a little down time during the school holidays when you are not working? What about during lunch hour after you have had a lite lunch and a drink, is there somewhere quiet you can go to work with your tarot cards? Many blessings with your quest to find some free time. BB

Thank you for your advice, i am making time on a wednesday evenings now when my step son is in bed and my husband is out. I think you are right about me needing some support at the moment. I am feeling quite restricted at the mo, life seems to revolve around work, my step son and my husbands shift pattern. It's taking me a while to get used to it, i've only been married a year.

Hi again Tink, don't beat yourself up, by the end of January 2012 you will have found yourself a routine that suits you and your family. Congratulations on being married a year. My partner and I have been together 11 years and he still has nto asked me to take his hand. Although we are very happy and I wouldn't change anything. The funny thing is he is called by family name by everyone leavign his redundant... Many blessings,

Hey there Tink
Welcome nad merry met to the forum :) I'm sure that all your questions will be answered by one of us on here as there are many of us Wisewomen and wisemen on here. :) Can i ask as to what pagan path you are on, ie wicca or druid or simply just Pagan? I'm of the Neo-Hellenic path , meaning that I follow and worship the Greek Gods in my Pagan practice.
Congrats on your marriage too. :) Life will always get in teh way of your practice, so you can't always be expected to practice every waking moment, but when you do get a chance to get some time to yourself it's always good to do what you do in your Pagan practice.
Blessed be )O(

Hi Tink, As others have said, don't beat yourself up over it, we all have times when real life intrude on what we would like to do, just grab a moment if and when you can to do what you want. It doesn't have to be anything long winded, you will be surprised as to just how much you can fit into what seems like a minute amount of time. Sooner, hopefully rather than later, you will find this out, just go with the flow as they say, we all have what I like to describe as 'quiet times' worry not. www.livingspirits.co.uk
