Thank you, you see i recently came across a letter delivered to me by a fellow witch, however it held knowledge of Obeah and and that a douen had been set on me... I am quite worried , and just wondering what exactly a douen is and what i can do to protect myself. Blessed Be Loggie

Blessed Be Loggie I have no idea what that s but oked on thNet and this s what cae up : "The Douen is a character from Trinidad and Tobago folklore, it is believed they are the lost souls of children that had not yet been baptized or christened. Their most recognized characteristic are their feet that are said to be backwards, with the heel facing the front." "Obeah (sometimes spelled Obi, Obea or Obia) is a term used in the West Indies to refer to folk magic, sorcery, and religious practices derived from West African, and specifically Igbo origin.[1] Obeah is similar to other African derived religions including Palo, Voodoo, Santería, rootwork, and most of all hoodoo. Obeah is practiced in Suriname, Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago, Dominica, Guyana, Barbados, Belize and other Caribbean countries.[2] Obeah is associated with both benign and malignant magic, charms, luck, and with mysticism in general. In some Caribbean nations, Obeah refers to folk religions of the African diaspora. In some cases, aspects of these folk religions have survived through synthesis with Christian symbolism and practice introduced by European colonials and slave owners. Casual observation may conclude that Christian symbolism is incorporated into Obeah worship, but in fact may represent clandestine worship and religious protest." This is was I found on Wikipedia, but as I said before do not quote me on this. So it seems to me that you may have been cursed, but as I say I'm not sure, s please do not quote me . In regards to protection, I would strongly suggest that you smudge your house and home with either Sage or dragonsblood and say a few words of Power by calling on either elemental spirits or deities to protect you depending on what your panthoen is. I do hope this has helped a little bit, but I'm sure other more experienced wisewomen/men can help you on this situation and give you their perspective Hail the Olympians and Blessed be )O( Surround yourself with what you love, whether it's family, pets, keepsakes, music, plants, hobbies, whatever. Merry meet natasha and loggiewilts... i am somewhat and expert on dark magik having practised it for 4 years. A douen is creature that lured children into forests and woods to get them lost and die becoming a douen themselves if they were not baptised.
Presuming your are older than a child, having a douen placed upon you is no more than a nuiscance and if you are to give me you name, country and age, i shall divert the lost child towards me, hence leaving you alone, where i will deal with it further.

Ah very Well Loggie, i shall try my upmost to rid you of this nuisance. In answer to your question, i do and have performed such curses, never have liked the douen, they can be creepy. I normally perform mid level hexes and curses due to their ease, i can do higher levels of dark magik, but the power drains me and i prefer not 2 be tired However i do focus on helpin others, in a similar mishap as you
