Hey, i am recently new to paganism and i just wanted to know what dark magik is and the effect it can have thankyou!!

Haha Miss Loggie, i see this problem may have been going on for some time, i just wanted to add dark magik allthough violent, is not evil and only brings the cause of nature and change through destructive means

Not all dark magic is violent or distructive, not everyone who practices it cast's hexes or curses either.

Some, use it in defense and for the good of all.

It is no different, or better than any other type of magic, just some find they can work with it better than most.

Don't ever be afraid to embrace your dark side, we all have one, and to know it is to understand it and control it, rather than let it control you.

@ Stormrune - I thought dark Magick was something everyone revered to since it was classed as doing more harm than good. The same goes for telling newbies to the craft (mainly wicca) that its not advised to do Dark magick etc for fear of doing harm to others etc.

Mind you having said that, if it be put to good use, are there any books i could read on the subject or even some websites i could go to to read up on it? thanks

Tbh Ultravioletangel, i know of no websites or books to acknowledge dark magik, i suppose it is because of its Taboo nature that has been labelled evil for no reason....

Im always here to help with any queries and questions and if you do find anything interesting, whether it be on the internet or in a book, please suggest it my way as information is scarce on this subject thank you
