Hiya fellow brothers and Ssiters
I know have been absent from the forums lately, due to being very busy with house maintenance from the local council (its a long story). But I just wanted to come on here ad wish everyone a happy Mabon and see what each one is doing for Mabon. Does anyone have any good Altar ideas for this year? I'm wanting to do something different this year with regards to my altar setup etc so an ideas would be greatly appreciated . Thanks
Blessings unto you all )O( xx

Heyhey! I'm celebrating on the 23rd this year, which is the actual date of the Equinox. Nothing elaborate planned for the Altar this year tho (boo!) need my tax return before I can buy anything new! And even then just going to be a quiet personal observance of autumn and how the season's changing, seeing as I'm at work then on a train to go down for my nephew's 1st birthday!
Blessed be and happy Mabon! )0(

So nice to see some old friends here, brightest blessings, and a wondrous Equinox to you all! I have had to rejig my wee altar somewhat, hoping to move house within the next year or so, so decluttering! My altar is now located in and around my bedroom fireplace, which makes it safer, I feel happier leaving my candles lit, and I now have a bit more room! Win, win! I've decorated it with some pinecones and holly leaves, I have a tall central candle, and a Goddess and God candle ( Lidl , vanilla and honey pillars! They smell sumptious! ), my pentacle is on the hearth, and I just love it all, it's so warming and welcoming! The unit I used for my altar before now houses all my Wiccan texts, and my spell supplies, and for people viewing the house in future, it all looks very innocent ( ! ) Looking forward to tonight, just a quiet contemplation of the season, BBx

Belated blessings and Autumnal greetings to everyone. The pine cones and holly sound fab and I like your idea about de-cluttering Lady Lustre. I decided to welcome the Autumn by getting rid of 'stuff' choking up my cupboards and drawers. I feel so much 'lighter' now! Unworn and unwanted clothes and cheap tatt mostly but I was amazed at the amount of paper I had, old bills, statements, receipts, magazines, newspapers, posters and all kinds of cards and cardboard boxes. I have recycled most of it and kept the cards with the deepest felt sentiments and memories but it is so refreshing to have got rid and dumped all that paper. Why did I have so much paper? how did I get to that stage? all those trees felled - it's so sad. On-line statements and bills from now on. Enjoy the Autumn.

Mmmmmm, Autumn is my favourite time of the year, I just love all the changing colours from the vibrancy of Spring and Summer, to the gentle slumber of the warm reds and browns of the season, and all those cosy evenings by the fire through the Winter! After a declutter, I like to have all my big candles ready for the darker nights, all blessed for a harmonious home, and to add a little ambient lighting. Bring on the dark nights!! BBx
