Welcome and welocme to our lovely site, there are many many wise men and women who regularly write and place comments on this fantastic site.

Lady Lustre, Dark Angel and Ultraviolet Angel are just three I can mention.

Scott Cunningham has great books for the solitary, Cassandra Eason to name a few.

I am sure that out members will add to the list, there have been a few already mentioned if you have a browse through the topics.

Enjoy your new way fo life adn Merry meet,

Smile Merry meet, I agree with Majadim, Scott Cunningham I would highly recommend, any of his books are great. I am currently working my way through Marian Greenes' A Witch Alone and it's also very informative.

:D Thankyou to both of you, I have had a good look on Play.com for some books and just rememberd my Dad has a Raymond Buckland book which I shall be asking to borrow :)
I thought I'd have a good long read into wicca before considering praticing, Don't want to go into this blind.
Again thankyou xx

Smile A wise attitude, I spent many months researching Wicca before making my decision, although if I was honest, it was the art of spellcasting which drew me in. However, I now find the spiritual side to be where I am drawn, and it's of great comfort in times of difficulty, and allows me to give thanks in the good times!

Greetings, just thought of another great book, The Craft by Dorothy Morrison.

The book offers exercises to do with all aspects of the craft including meditation, tools etc however, she does not offer the free and easy way of approaching life as a solitary in an expert manner as scott cunningham does.

Godsphere publishers do a fantastic series of mini bible books whixh include subjects such as wiccaa, crystals, secret societies, dreams, chakras and on and on and on.

All books can be foudn quite cheaply on Amazon which is where i have got my books from. If you need ISBN's just let me know, that is for any one else who would like them.

Ive just started out, Im currently reading spells and psychic powers - Soraya, she is really good at explaining the craft. The book of spells by Michael Johnstone, both very easy to follow for newbies like me lol . The Element Encyclopedia of Spells by Judika Elles Also in Witchcraft.

All my books came from a cheap book store The Works.

Im also reading A practical guide to pshchic development and spiritual growth by Tara Ward that gives a lot more into the psychic and meditation, healing, visualisation techniques that sort of thing. Ive also found a few links online that have been great for information too.

The question Id like to ask is what is the difference between tumblestone and crystals and what and where do we use the two different types?

Razz @UvA--No,no,no,Leos are best-only because I'm a Leo!!Miaow!
@smartarian-the Works is great for a bargain-I got a couple of Sorayas' books from there-I think her spells require an awful lot of ingredients, hard if you're on a budget (like me!). I even got a beautiful brocade covered notebook there which I use for a BoS! I think tumblestones are just polished crystals ( they are indeed 'tumbled' in order that the rough edges are knocked off and they become smooth), so they feel comfortable to hold or wear.

Now now, everyone,

We are all different, which is a good thing, we all have our strengths and weaknesses, our good and bad points, so, there can be no one 'superior' to any othersLaugh

Anyway, Taurians are best LOL

The packaging was great and the pentegram met more than my expectations. I have just ordered another one for my Grandaughter and will definately be recommending you to my friends. Many thanks
