Hi I came across a simple spell I wish to share. Please be safe and make sure that your candles have plenty of space as the heat rises!
Simple Angel Spell: Put three candles in the highest place you have at home, inside a plate with sugar all around the candles. Light the candles. Ask for three wishes to the Angels St Rafael, St Michael and St Gabriel. Ask one wish for business, one wish for love and one impossible wish. Publish this spell on the third day after you requested the wishes – by posting it to someone else, or announcing your thanks to the saints in a newspaper classified ad, and see what happens on the fourth day…
Bright blessings to all.

Do you have any idea of what happens to sugar if anything hot lands on it? It spits, and if it lands on your skin, it will stick to it and burn it away, as I know to my cost. Years ago, before a serious accident, I was a trainee Dietitian, I lived in the nurses quarters at the hospital, I was cooking something one evening and being lazy, had a teaspoon of sugar in my hand and rather than take the cup to it, I took it to the cup, right over the cooker, some of it spilt and hit the heated top, it spat, landed on my hand and just melted the skin underneath. I wouldn't wish that on anyone, the pain was indescribable, so please, don't use sugar just in case. www.livingspirits.co.uk

Two things about this spell make me frown (ignoring the obvious physical risks, candles in the highest place and the sugar factor Dark Angel talked about (which I didn't know, thank you for the safety tip!)). One- if you go into a spell believing it's impossible, it won't work. So the third wish is useless. Two - publish the spell? What happened to that part of the Witches' Pyramid - To Know, to Will, to Dare and to be Silent. It's a standard rule of magic that you don't talk about the spell after it's done or you risk draining power from it, or causing it to divert to your own wants rather than what the Gods/Universe had decided the spell should do. So whilst it sounds like a lovely spell, and I realise how horrid I sound and I apologise, Maisie, but I'm convinced this is a dud and a spam chain spell. There are loads of brilliant Angel-based spells out there, that are neither so dangerous nor so ignorant of the general rules of magic. I'm sure we'd all be glad to share our favourites if you want, Maisie.

Hi maisie, I am sorry, but i have to agree with Dark Angel and Althara. I don't know where you got the spell from but i would not advice its use. Firstly as has been said sugar near a flame is dangerous, as is putting candles up in a high place, if they fall they are likely to cause a fire. And what is the point of asking for the impossible. It just does not make sense. And as Althara has said you do not publish your spell it weakens it. I know when you are starting out it is easy to just grab at anything that seems magical. But you really have to be a bit more selective and study to find what actually works and is genuine, rather than some ineffective scam. If you are seious about learning the craft i suggest you read scott cunninghams living wicca, and a guide to the solitary. Kate west's real witch's handbook is also very good. Also if you need help and guidance there is allways some one on here who is willing to help. There are many wise people on this forum, Dark angel and Althara being the two most wise women i know. There advice is allways sound. I hope this helps you my dear. Bright blessings Duchess

Hey maisie, i have to agree with the others here and to be honest when i read warning bells started to ring. I don't think you need to be a witch to even know that this hazardous!! Its common sense not to put candles in a high place and as for the sugar, well i didn't know it spat at you if you take a flame to it (thanks DA). I think you have to read a bit more and really get to know the proper basics before just picking up " a spell" and doing it for its own sake. so i think it may be a chain mail in all honesty. I'e had a few chain mails similar to this and i've never taken any notice of teh chain mail stuff as i think its a bit dodgey... there are many wise women here , all of the above except me as i am also a beginner and don't know all the tricks of the trade yet so am still learning. so if you have a question one of them will definatly answer you and advise you on such matters . Plus what do you mean by "publish" them? surely if you are a beginner the first thing any witch should know is the Wiccan Rede and the Witches Pyramid to which all or at least most pagans go by. My friend used to blab about doing this spel and that spell etc and everyone thought he was total idiot and from a wiccans point of you i thought he was because it is one of the rules of witchcraft which is "To be Silent". when i started this path the first thing i came across was the wiccan Rede and the witches Pyramid and so instantly i was like "uh oh, excuse me but that's not cool" but he thought it was so it just goes to show how uninformed he was about what really makes a wiccan. soz bout teh soap box rant but its all true. blessed be and be safe )O( Surround yourself with what you love, whether it's family, pets, keepsakes, music, plants, hobbies, whatever. Your home is your refuge.".
