I want to try casting a circle,but havent got too much space.Would 4 ft diameter be big enough? Ive read that the circle is a sphere that disects the floor,in that case my head would be sticking out the top?!

That size circle would be fine depending on what you want to do. Though if possible you are better seeing if you could find somewhere larger to have a circle, (possibly outdoors?)

You cast it whatever size you need to, it doesn't necessarily have to be round either, when I do one, I make it the size of the room I in (I shut the door) because Rexx (my doggie) has a tendancy to wander, so didn't want him ruining it, this was suggested to me by a dear friend, who is experienced at these things, so it doesn't have to be 'round' you can make it egg shaped, or anything you want.
