Earth Witch

hi all,
i know this has nothing to do with wicca or paganism, but i need some help or advice.
you see, i absolutely love animals and have 2 cats. (this may sound strange) because i love them so much that when i pick them up, i grit my teeth and am a bit rough with them. i never intentionally mean to harm them beacuse i love them. whats wrong with me?

Doubt anything wrong with you apart from being just a little too enthusiastic when you do pick them up, if it concerns you that much, stop doing so and wait/encourage them to come sit on your lap or by your side so you can pet them without handling them.

A lot of cats don't like being picked up anyway as it's not natural to them.

If you really feel you have to pick them up, just try imagine that they're made of something extra fragile so you do so more gently.
