hi, just a random question, wondering if anyone can figure this out

Looking at different pictures of interwoven pentagrams, where the lines over-lap each other like a knot, I've noticed there're two different ways of it being drawn, and I wondered if there was any significance in the difference.

one way, starting on the bottom right point, is for the line going up from that point to be on top, and the other is for that same line to be underneath

if anyone knows whether there's any significance in the way it's drawn or whether it's just a variation

hey howler im not very experienced but i read your question and it reminded me of a section in christopher penczaks the temple of shamanic witchcraft and he mentions that there are 2 ways of drawing a pentagram 1 way being banishing and 1 being invoking. i dont know if this helps you at all but i just thought i would give you information that i have read :D xx blessed be

I beleive the last post was right. One way to invoke and thuther way to banish. (colckway) & (anti-clock)

Merry meet,

Gwen is correct.

To invoke start at the top point adn work downwards. To banish start from the bottom left adn upwards.

The same is for when usign your besom/dustpan and brush to cleanse your room. Clockwise to invoke and deosil to banish.

I have been away from work for a week on buisness and will definatley be doing the latter first thing I do when I go to my office.
