Pain in the charkas

Merry Meet!
For the last 10 days I have been meditating and cleaning my charkas and aura. I have been completing this task everyday. Six days ago I had a pain in my chest running down my left arm!!! yes... same thought acurred to me and I did nearly ring for an ambulance, but the pain subsided when I thought of doing this. Went to the GP who said it was probably stress related.
I carried on with the meditation and clearing the charkas. Last night I was awoken at 3am with a severe pinching pain in my root charka which lasted a good twenty minutes. Today I have been out walking for two hours hoping to ground myself and I have not meditated.

Does anyone have any theories or reasons why I should be having these pains? is there anything I can do to stop them in the future?
