Hey Seven,
I don't think they are - from what I can tell, censer figures are just that - a figurine that is used as a censer to burn incense. Altar figures would be solid statues or statuettes, that are purely decorative.
You could of course use a censer figure as your main Altar figure, but depending on the make it'd either have holes in or you'd have to leave it in halves to burn your incense.
Whether or not you choose to use an Altar figure should depend on your own beliefs. If inviting Divinity into your rituals or asking a God's assistance with a spell, a figure in front of you to help you visualise Them could come in handy - but would also be expensive, unless you only ever called on one God or Goddess. You can always use pictures instead! Cheaper and just as effective, especially if you put them in a frame.
To find pictures you can just google the name of your deity, and print one off that suits you. Figures you could try googling, for example, "Bast Statue" and see what results come up, or look through shops similar to Pagan Dreams to see what they have. Pagan Dreams has some nice Egyptian God statuettes, under the 'Altar Tools' 'Statuary' headings.
Hope I helped... If not, do let me know where I went wrong!
Blessings, Althara

Not a problem, glad I could help! If you like candle magic, could I recommend 'Candle Burning Rituals' by Marie Bruce? It's my personal favourite. She gives some spells for you to try, but also talks through creating your own. If you have any other questions just let us know! Brightest Blessings on this full Moon, may the Mother smile on you!

hi Althara thanks for the recommendation will look out for the book! i have tried out a sort of spell i imbued a gemstone keyring for my son when he was taking his exams. He was having nervous tummies and stressed. I asked in the spell for calm and concentration and to soothe his tum. Well he says he did feel much better whether was the keyring or power of positive thought dont know but he and i were more relaxed.
Do you have any more recommendations

Its your choice on what you like or feel like doing. I like crystals, candle magick, herbs. I'm not a big fan of spells atm as i don;t feel like it calls to me ...just yet. Its up to you what you want to study. If you feel drawn to runes or want to study runes, then get a book and read up on it . In regards to alter figures, its upto you what you want to put as figures to represent the male god and female goddess. If you feel like a figurine of your favourite tv show or game is suited to it then go ahed. I have a Lara croft figurine as my goddess representative and Kratos from the God of War Game representing the male side. So if the Ninja turtles is significant to you then put it on your alter!! Its totally up to you and what feels right!! Surround yourself with what you love, whether it's family, pets, keepsakes, music, plants, hobbies, whatever. Your home is your refuge.".
