My 14 year old son has autistism/aspergers. For me I found the best thing to do was to read up as much as I could about the subject so as I could fully understand all the personality traits and presentations of this disorder. You don't say in your post whether it is you or a relative/friend with aspergers? It is important to remember that each person is an individual and although some traits are typical - other are as individual as the person themselves. I found 'guilt' to be my biggest issue as for years I felt it must have been something I had done whilst pregnant with him, or that I must have mothered him differently than my other children - but please be reassured that it is not anybodies 'fault'. You are asking for alternative treatments but you don't say what you are currently using/doing - I would be more than willing to go into this further with you should you feel the need. Please let me know what you are currently doing and I will see if there is anything I can suggest that might help. Be kind to yourself, blessings Hestia x

omg who would post a thing like that on a website like this? 'boo hoo get over it'!?!? asperges is a serious condition that should not be taken lightly. if you or a relative/freind had it you wouldnt be so quick to judge other people!!!

Whoever the horrible person is that puts these messages on this website, you ought to feel very ashamed of yourself! You are obvious sad, mad or bad -take your pick! I get the impression you are young, inexperienced and very lonely. To take time to insult others for sharing experiences takes a lot of negative energy - and like it or not - it will come back at you with vengeance.
There are many thoughtful and caring people that contribute to this website and you are obviously not one of them.
Mark my words - one day you will need help and support and I only hope that you meet someone kind enough to help you. Hopefully this will make you see what a horrible person you are and may lead to you changing your ways.
In the meantime, if you have nothing positive or constructive to say then say nothing! I don't know you and I am not hurt by what you have said - I pity you. Hestia.

Hey Hestia,
It's good you're not dropping to their level, the Goddess and God will judge them fairly, it might take a while but it always comes back around.
I hope you and your son are doing well, you have my love x

Guest wrote:hi all, just wondering if anybody knows of an alternative treatment for asperges? light and love As far as I know there is no treatment for Asperger's Syndrome, alternative or mainstream. There are some mainstream treatments for the symptoms and resulting problems related to having an autistic condition. For example if one has difficulty with routines, no drug can fix that, but some medications can help to calm one down if one is having a panic attack due to a routine change. 'Alternatives' would be things that work on the same basis. Like valerian, chamomille and hops for anxiety.
