Like my mum, I want to be a witch but I'm worried I will be too young. I'm 14 years old and love superstition and witchcraft and myths. My mum is a witch but I want to be yo. Am I to young or am I fine because of my mums expierence.

Hi leanne, I was 14 when I first found wicca and I personally wouldn't say it's too young as now I'm 22 and I'm still practising. I would say just learn and study as much as you can, practise mediation and always, at least in the first year, do all spells within a circle. I would absolutely start a Book of Shadows asap as I didn't do this right away and I do regret it as it is nice to look back and see what you've learnt etc I would advise you to not do any psychic spells (this is from personal experience)while your a teenager. You will be fine as long as you use your common sense and always go by how it feels Also I'd ask your mum for some advise too as I'm sure she has loads of experience!
Anyway sorry for rambling on, hope this helps!!!
Blessed Be Acacia

I was 11 when I first found Wicca, which I feel was too young, but, if you are dedicated, and are willing to learn and have good resources then 14 is a good age to start at and not too young

i would agree i started at 12-13 and that was hard to learn properly because i couldnt get my hands on books or equipment very often so it made it hard but 14 is a better age but any age is acceptable to start learning. BB BMW

Have you spoke to your mum? after all being a witch herself she could help and advise you.

I don't think your to young as long as you know about what it means and how to be safe i think it does not matter how old you are.
I would say talk to your mam and maybe ask her to help you learn.
Take care Mollyee

I would think that as long as you can grasp basic morals then there is nothing to stop you being a witch.
You're never too young for the religious side of things, either. If you want to worship the Goddess, then by all means do so! Never too young for that. But I believe you were mainly referring to Witchcraft, in which case I stand by my first statement.
If you know what for you is right, and what is wrong, and you know that you won't be doing anything out of sheer spite, malice or greedy selfishness, then I see no reason for you not to be practicing. Especially if your mum's a Witch too, she could help you with things like correspondances and the like. I found the Craft when I was 12 myself, and did my first spell at that age too, with precious few books etc to help. It worked.
As long as you can be responsible, there's no reason to my mind why you shouldn't practice.
Blessed be!

Im not a wiccan but am a pagan and i found it last year when i was 13. I have never looked back and thrive on learning more and more about paganism (both in general and speciaised to me). 14 is a great age i would say- it doesnt matter how old you are but how willing and dedicated you are!
:) Bright bouncy bubbly blessings from a young fellow pagan!
