Does anyone know how to make a spirit vessel to capture and hold a spirit that is causing problems and poltergeist activity?

Rather than banish it and send it somewhere I think far worse I thought I could try and place it into a jar etc and release it where it can't do any harm, like a castle which is close to myself, where people can appreciate it a bit more.

I really would not try to capture it. The thing is with poltergeist activity that 9 out of 10 times it is not actually a spirit that is causing it. It is more like a frequency or thought form that has little or no free will of its own. It merely works off instinct in order to preserve itself. A good banishing ritual is always best when dealing with such things. It is important to remember that without a source of energy the poltergeist activity will usually fade and dispearse on its own. The key is cutting off its energy supply. It cant be harmed by this as it is not a thinking, feeling creature. Think of it as letting a puddle disolve. I dont understand your comment about releasing it where people can appricate it more. Its not an endangred species to be released back into the wild. It is vital in this work not to try and apply physical notions to non-physical entities.

Hmmm...

it is possible to seal a spirit entiity in a vessel, but it's difficult, dangerous if it goes wrong and takes a fair amount of oomph to do it as it's old ceremonial magick from the Goetia so I would advise against it

As already said, it's likely that it's just a thought form or other elemental gone a bit awry, and as their just made up of base elemental energies they have no mind of their own, just primal instincts (as already said) so banishing wouldn't cause any problems, and if it was a poltergeist spirit then if you are worried about causing it harm there are exorcism/banishing rituals out there that ask that the entity go to a place of peace and joy etc etc, so I'd look them up :)

so, yeah, the long and short is that banishing's your best option, start on pretty basic stuff, and work your way up till things settle down (no point using unecessary amounts of energy), if none of the basic simple things like smudgingor space cleansing work then go for a version of the LBRP (lesser banishing ritual of the pentagram) that suites you (change the existing one to suite you really), but best used as a final thing as you may no need it.

oh, as a final thing, if it's a thoughtform etc, that is going to need an energy source to survive I wouldn't dop any magickal work (other than banishing rituals) aimed at the entity, because if it needs energy to survive and you start blasting it with some it'll hang around and take a liking to you, and you may end up with a psionic vampire instead of/as well as poltergeist activity.

sorry for the ramble :$

hope this helps!

Blessings!

Having recieved my order from you today I would like to offer very positive feedback. It is for my daughters birthday (which I ordered late and didn't expect it to arrive in time) on Sunday so I am really pleased how fast you sent it out. The packaging was great and the pentegram met more than my expectations. I have just ordered another one for my Grandaughter and will definately be recommending you to my friends. Many thanks
