It's rather strange question.. Since i was a child i was always aware that there is something out there beyond our understanding - spiritual life. There is a spirit within us just as there is our soulmate somewhere out there who we would recognise by the light in their eyes.. and our spirit within us shows us who we truly are. By looking into someones eyes we can look deep into their soul and get greater understanding about the person who is right before us. I don't know if i am right or wrong.. but i have never learned these things anywhere apart from the fact that i was somehow always aware.. i have a great interest in tarot cards etc. even though i' unable to do readings as i don't think i have enough knowledge about it, however i have always crossed my path with people who has some sort of gifts; tarot readings, seeing the spirits, predicting the future by some sort of feeling, crystals, healings etc. and somehow we have always recognised each other for some bizarre reason.. since the childhood, i have always had this heightened sense of intuition with which i can feel specific things or sometimes pick up on certain aspects of other persons personality or their moods. Sometimes i feel that my spirit is very sensitive and i do feel changes on the way i feel depending on my surroundings. However i wouldn't call myself a person having a gift and if i do, i don't know how to use it. I had an encounter in pentacostal church where i felt a very strong presence of the holy spirit and have received the greatest miracle of all,a healing of my soul. All the burdens that were on my heart at a time dissapeard and the new chapter in my life begun. However even after that, i feel something is missing. I feel that there is something more i need to learn, i need to find a path which i need to follow. I came accross a book written by Paulo Coelho 'Brida' which writes in a great detail about 'Wicca'. I was greatly inspired by this book and specifically by the character in search of her destiny and meeting two people The Magus and Wicca who thought and changed her life through their knowledge and teachings. After reading this book, i realised that all i ever wanted is to meet a person who is deeply enlightened about this subject and who truly knows about all the traditions (The Moon, The Sun etc) and the person who i truly could discuss this subject with and maybe learn something from this encounter.. I'm trying to find out who i am and i feel that i need some guidance from someone who knows more about the spiritual life than i do.. Where can i meet this person? or how could i learn more about myself through maybe reading certain books?
Blessings, xx

There is an old saying that when you are ready for a teacher they will come. Unfortunately there is no real way to meet an enlightened person as you put it. If someone spouts off that they have divine knowledge or their family/organisation has been involved in the mystic arts for years and has access to special knowledge then you can be sure they probably have no knowledge at all. You will always find that people with true knowledge do not, brag about it, do not cover themselves with arcane pendants and the like. Those people who have true wisdom are inconspicuous, humble and are very hard to differentiate from your 'average' person. They also may have rather mundane jobs. One example i can think of was a gentleman who found his spiritual teacher working the nightshift at a petrol station. These people do not seek publicity but carry out their lives just as the average man or woman. There is an old story stating, before enlightenment you chop wood and do chores, after enlightenment you chop wood and do chores. The only difference in the before and after is the way of looking at the chores you do. Another thing to look out for is that the person you seek may not be great in age. The saying that wisdom comes with age is rather incorrect, wisdom does not come with age but the correct interpretation of experience. You will also find that these people tend not to have a particular tradition they follow, they have a more all encompassing view point of the world and universe. As for books, check out books by G. Gurdjieff for an interesting look at the universe there are many others. As for names of teachers i personnally wouldnt go along with peoples endorsements as different people have different views on wisdom, like i said before true holders of wisdom wont be found in such a way. The best teacher you will find in life is life itself. Every person, breeze, chore and movement has something to give us. The real key is undertanding these things.

hi,there are many people out there who claim to be mediums etc,but be wary as they have no gift and want only your moneyyou sound a very kind sensitive soul,if i were you before going any further,i would stop, and listen in the silence to your own intuition, that first thought, and ask in your mind for the right help and guidance,if it feels right venture further, but walk, don, run ,ask the angels for help, all you have to do is call, the answer will come in a sign, maybe in the most unexpected way, through a song, something on telly,or maybe white feather, good luck, and love to you x
