Personally i would steer clear. The board itself would not be any good for communicating with guides, angels, or relatives. In my research it would appear that the board is only useful to tapping into the lower level of the plane of Yetzirah, that being the area closest to us the world of action. It is this area if you will that seems to support the lower level entities created through human thought or emotion, the natural elementals etc that dwell within this area i.e. creatures of fae and the husks/shells of the personality that are stripped away before the soul proper moves onto high planes. It is my belief that when communication with these shells is established you get the rough information gathered by mediums and the like, as these shells only retain a minute part of the memory and therefore cannot remember full details of its life when incarnate. The other levels also contain layers of human thought because as the soul rises through the planes the grosser aspects are left behind on their corresponding levels, only being able to function on that level or the levels below, not being able to penetrate higher as the frequency is to fine. You will also notice that communication with entities through the board is a laborous process, much of the information is incorrect or downright lies. It should also be noted that people who have negative experiences with the board point out that the information at first was accurate, however the longer and more frequently they used it the more sinister the tone took. It is very much like talking to people in chat rooms etc, you can never really be sure who you are talking to. If however you insist on using this device you would be well advised to use a banishing ritual before and after its use as well as burning protective incense. The Golden Dawns Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram is perfect for such a working, however, one use is not enough, you will want to practice this everyday for at least six months before using it effectively. This seems a long time but unfortunately is the only way, in fact this is a shorter time than recommended by the order itself. To contact angels and the like you would better off training in pathworking, so that you can rise on the planes and penetrate the higher levels, another process i am sorry to say that takes much time and training, but is well worth the end result. Whatever you choose treat the board with respect as a majority of people who use it only report negative experiences.

hi, you must protect yourself and home weeks befor useing a board, make sure you do proper protection rituals and you know what u are doing. i have used boards in the past and yes used properly u can contact spirits but u dont have a choice on who wants to contact u, u maybe dissapointed or u may release something that doesnt want to leave. you must send all spirits back to the light when finished.
