hi all! i am in Y11, and i just started a peice of german coursework (the real thing!) the day before my friend was away on a netball tournament, so she didnt really have much time to prepare. anyway, on her exam paper in the summer, she got an A*(!). but as she didnt have much time, she htinks she only got a D. but our german teacher said it isnt what you wanted, but its better than you think. i tried be positive by saying it could be a B or an A, and at least C is a pass.i tried to reassure her by sayin she did fine, think positive, believe in yourself etc but she wasnt having it! so i thought that i could do something for her in a magickal sort of way. like with a spell or a crystal or something. any ideas? she is also a serious Christian so i dont think she would want witch craft involved. but i just thought of using a 'be positive' spell or something, as i know you're not supposed to do spells for someone without them knowing. Thanks! p.s. could you try and get back to me a.s.a.p cos its a full moon tonight and would be able to work it into my ritual. Thanks again! brightest blessings, love and light )O(

Greetings, too be honest unless your friend has a positive attitude the spell even if performed with full hightened state et al wont have much effect simply because her negative thinking will ultimately be working magic against the spell. The energies we use in magic go around and through all things all the time, ritual as you may know is merely a way of directing these forces. This is why in ritual after it has been performed you should not lust for results. If a ritual takes an hour to perform and you spend the next day worrying it has failed, you are in effect working magic against yourself, thus ensuring it will fail. This is why ritual training is important, as having a negative outlook is much easier than having a positive outlook. Unless she keeps a positive attitude then personnally i wouldnt take the time, however if you really want to have a go then there is nothing stopping you. Also do a divination first to make sure the outcome is desirable. What appears to be helpful on the surface may have an impact down the line especially as her religion forbids such practice.
Good luck
Daniel /|\

Exams can be a very stressful time, as I am sure you are already aware. The fact that you have the support and encouragement of your friends and that you give the same in return is very important. Trying to remain positive about exams and results can be very hard, especially with the pressures we put ourselves (and others!) under to suceed. As Daniel rightly says, emotional negativity soon cancels out the good that we try to do for others and so it is important that you stay strong for your friend. Instead of doing a spell for your friend, maybe ask the Gods / Goddess for a little extra strength yourself - to ensure you can fully support your friend at a time when she needs you. If concerned about offending her Christian beliefs, maybe reassure her to have faith in her God - sometimes irrespective of faith/religion/spiritual path, we all need reminding from time to time that we need to trust and have faith. I think your friend is lucky to have you. Be gentle with yourselves at the times of exams. Do your best and no-one can ask for anything more. Blessings Hestia x
