hi
i've seen on this website that there is a red chinese dragon for sale, but in the description it says not to be placed in the bedroom. does anyone know why? i already have 2 little dragons in my room on my alter. after reading that, should i move these 2 as well? many thanks

hmmm...I have a few dragons in my room...

It may have something to do with Feng Shui principals

In Feng Shui, Dragons, and especially red ones, symbolise Yang energy, and would encourage a lot of strong Qi/Chi flow.

This could possibly mean that you may have distuirbed sleep, or restlessness from the excess energy flowing about.

The Phoenix is aparently the red dragon's opposing partner, as it is a symbol of yin energy.

So, if you have think the dragon could cause some sleep problems, I'd reccomend finding a phoenix statue or image. or just some red feathers charged to the purpose of representing the phoenix to balance the yang energy of the dragon

If you look at the information section on this site it explains why dragons shouldn't be placed in the bedroom according to feng shui. From what I can remember it's because of the powerful energy they encourage and it will affect your ability to relax and sleep (like the last post said).
Hope this helps.
(By the way, I think this info would only apply to chinese dragons used in the way feng shui suggests, not just decorative dragon statues or dragons from other cultures.)
