It is always recommended that essential oils and blends are kept in dark, glass bottles, as sunlight destroys them.
Plastic is not suitable for the storage of neat essential oils, as these break down the plastic which then contaminates the oils. Oils blended with a carrier oils may be stored in plastic bottles.
