Essential Oils Magical Uses - Group C

Essential oils are derived from natural plants, they are not synthetic reproductions, they carry in their liquid the energies and very 'essence' of the plants they have been obtained from.  A very useful item in the witches tool chest, allowing plants to by used in preparations that perhaps aren't native to your country, or are out-of-season and your dried supplies have all been used.  Essential oils are far more concentrated than anything you can harvest and dry, so a single drop will carry plenty of the plant's natural energy.

Here are some of the most commonly used essential oils, beginning with the letter 'C' and their use within magic.

CHAMOMILE - A wonderful oil for promoting a sense of peace and harmony.  Anoint a blue candle with oil containing chamomile to bring peace to fighting household, or for healing magic concerning the emotions.  Use in an oil well during meditation to calm the mind, use a few drops in magical pot pourri and place in the bedroom for peaceful sleep.
