Product Descriptions
We endeavour to keep our descriptions of the products we sell as accurate as we possibly can and support them where ever practical with detail photography. By doing this, you can see exactly what you are buying and are able to judge quality for yourself so we hope therefore you can buy with more confidence.
Many of the products we sell are of a natural origin and so, sizes, colour, markings and shape may vary from the examples given on the website (particularly with items such as crystal based products where markings vary enormously from item to item - each is unique). However, we aim to be as consistent as we can in how we describe and represent them.
You should also be aware that not all computer systems used for browsing the internet are of the same standard and can be setup differently. In particular video monitors can render colours differently from that of the original photography. Where we think it necessary we include colour as part of our product description but if you are in any doubt, please call us, we are happy to answer your questions.
Prices
All prices shown on the site are subject to packaging and shipping charges which (which we keep to the absolute minimum). These vary according to the weight of order.
All prices are shown and will be charged in GB Pounds Sterling. The currency exchange rate for overseas customers will be that which is in force at their credit card issuing bank at the time of the transaction and we have absolutely no control over this.
Order Content
All purchased products are itemised on the order for your review and agreement prior to final order submission and the same items are shown to the same level of detail on all subsequently printed copies of the Order and on the Invoice we enclose when the Order is despatched.
Each Order has a unique identification number and each line item has a unique product code, a brief descriptive title, shows the quantity ordered and also gives a total value for each order line.
The Order, subsequent email confirmation and Invoice all show the total value of all items ordered, the postage charge and the total order value which will be charged to your Credit Card.
Postage and Packaging
We keep post and packaging charges to the absolute minimum aiming only to cover our costs. The postage you are charged is as shown at the time the order is confirmed at the online checkout or as otherwise agreed with you for a telephone order.
Postage is shown on all copies of the Order you print and also on the Invoice which is included when your order is shipped.
NB: We reserve the right to change shipping methods for an equivalent or better service at our discretion, should the need arises.
Shipping
Where ever possible, we try to ship orders within 1 working day. If you order before mid-day any working day (Monday - Friday) we usually ship the same day.
All shipping times are approximate since we have no control over the package once it has left us. Please note also, that estimated delivery times are from when we ship, not from when the Order is placed. We do not ship at Weekends or during UK Public Holidays.
Although first class post is usually next working day, it can take longer and can be affected by the remoteness of your location.
VAT
All prices shown are inclusive of Value Added Tax (VAT) where it is applicable. The VAT is added at the governing rate applicable at the time of purchase (currently 17.5% on most items).
Billing
Your Credit Card is only billed once your order is confirmed and is assembled ready for despatch. Our website will not normally allow you to order items which are out of stock, however, if a situation arises where an items is subsequently found to be out of stock or fails to meet our quality standards, you will always be contacted and given the option to cancel, substitute or otherwise adjust the Order to suit you.
Note: We never accept orders from, or despatch orders to Post Office Box addresses.
Cheques & Postal Orders
We are an online business and so the normal means of payment is by Credit Card through our secure payment service. However, for the convenience of our customers we also accept payment in the form of Cheques or Postal Orders (in GB Pounds only). We have a minimum order value of £15 (excluding postage) for this method of payment because of the additional processing that is involved.
PLEASE NOTE: Cheques and Postal Orders must be made Payable to CometX Internet Solutions Limited and Crossed "A/C Payee Only". We must receive your Cheque or Postal Order within 4 working days or your Order may be cancelled to release the stock for other customers.
When Goods Arrive
We inspect everything before shipment and package all items carefully to ensure they don't get damaged in transit. So, when your goods arrive, you should inspect the package for any signs of external damage and ensure that if there is any, it is reported to the carrier at the time of receipt, in writing. This can simply be done by annotating the signature sheet with the words 'Package Damaged' or similar. Failure to do this may affect your ability to subsequently claim that goods were damaged in transit as the carrier may refute the claim.
If goods are found to be damaged, you must keep all of the original packaging for inspection by us, or the carrier. Once we decide what action is required to resolve the problem we will tell you that you can dispose of the packaging.
If replacements are required, you, the customer are responsible for returning the damaged items to us and we will refund your reasonable postal charges - Goods should not be sent back using Royal Mail Special Delivery which would result in unreasonably high return costs. Once the damaged items are received, replacements will be despatched or refunds given as agreed with you.
Returns
It is very rare that a customer needs to send something back. However, if your received goods are not as we described them on our website or you think they are not fit for the purpose for which they were sold, then we will accept them back for a refund or exchange within 7 days of receipt. The only proviso is that the returned goods must be in exactly the same condition we sent them to you, unopened, unused, undamaged and with any seals or shrink wrap still intact.
We regret that because of the Health and Hygiene regulations we cannot accept the return of earrings or body jewellery.
Because we go to great pains to make our descriptions and photography accurately represent what we sell, we regret that we cannot refund any postal charges. We also advise you to send any items we have agreed to accept back, very well packaged to prevent damage and for your own protection use a recorded delivery method (so we sign for their receipt). We cannot accept liability for goods you send back which are not received or are damaged in transit.
Undeliverable Packages
Occasionally the carrier or mail service is unable to deliver because there is no-one at the delivery address to accept the package. Under these circumstances the delivery service will normally leave a card to indicate the attempted delivery and may even try again the next day. After that the package gets returned to the depot and you must arrange collection yourself. If after the allowed time (normally 4 weeks with the Royal Mail, but less with carrier services) you have not collected the package, it gets returned to us.
Once this happens you can have the package re-shipped by paying the shipping charge again, or you may opt to cancel the order. If you cancel the order, there is a 20% re-stocking fee charged to cover our costs. No postal charges will be refunded, however, the balance of the returned order will be refunded within 30 days.
Shortages
All orders are independently picked, checked and inspected to ensure we don't miss anything. So in the very unlikely event that you find something is missing from your order, you must notify us upon receipt. You can do this either through the Feedback or Enquiry system on the site or via telephone using the numbers given in the Contacts section. We will only deal with shortages notified after that period at our discretion.
Orders From Outside the United Kingdom
As part of our fraud prevention strategy, we will only send international orders to the cardholders address.
We accept no liability for international orders once they have been despatched, so we advise international customers to use a 'trackable' shipping option which ensures their consignment is tracked through to delivery and gets signed for. There is always a proof of posting on international orders.
Orders which we are requested to ship outside the uk may be subject to import duty and or local taxation charges in the receiving country (every country has different rules). The Customer is solely responsible for ascertaining if such charges apply and is responsible for their settlement with local authorities as necessary. We as the vendor do not accept liability for any such charges whatsoever.

Errors and Omissions
We try very hard to keep our site as up to date as possible and describe everything accurately. However, we are only human and may occasionally make a mistake. Therefore we reserve the right to change details of products, prices and shipping costs as we see fit, withdraw items from sale without warning and cancel a sale if we discover we have made an error - you will never be charged anything if this happens.
WARNINGS:
1. Some items we sell, such as crystals are small and very attractive and so should be kept out of the reach of children. Also, as advised on our website, in most instances, aromatherapy essential oils should be never be used neat but rather, should be diluted with an appropriate carrier oil before application to the skin.
2. There is also useful guidance and information to be found on our website for the safe use of oil burners and other items. This should be taken into account along with any commonsense safety precautions you would normally observe.
3. Athames and other bladed items can obviously be dangerous so please be very careful when using them in your rituals. It is perfectly legal to own and used athames but you must NEVER carry any bladed items in a public place without a very good and plausable reason (so for example, it would be unreasonable to take one with you when you go shopping). We are not legal experts so it would be in your own interest to at least familiarise yourself with knife law - In our opinion this is very sensible legislation which is aimed at criminals and yobs - It is not intended to prevent you from pursuing your religious beliefs.
4. HERBS - All herbs we sell are for ritual / spellcraft use only. They are not sold for any form of medicinal purpose and even though some of the herbs are well known culinary varieties you cannot assume they are of a culinary grade and so should not, under any circumstances, be ingested in any form or by any means.
Under the 1968 Medicines Act we are forbidden to offer any advice on the medicinal use of herbs or herbal preparations and we hereby disclaim any liability for damage or harm to you or any third party who may be affected by your actions, howsoever caused, arising out of the use or misuse of any of the herbs or powders you buy from us.
By purchasing from this website you are agreeing to be bound by these conditions of sale and acknowledging that you have read and understood these warnings. If you are in any doubt about anything we are more than happy to answer any questions you may have.
IMPORTANT: IF YOUR ORDER CONTAINS AN ATHAME OR OTHER BLADED ITEM YOU MUST BE OVER 18 TO COMPLETE THE PURCHASE ON THIS SITE. BY CONTINUING WITH SUCH AN ORDER YOU ARE CONFIRMING YOU MEET THIS CONDITION.
