We always want to ensure that our customers can shop confidently and safely with us and we go to a great deal of trouble make sure that is possible. Our backend systems integrate seamlessly with the very well respected Payment Service Provider, SagePay, who employ rigorous levels of physical and internet security as well a various anti-fraud devices to keep your information very safe.
All communication between you, our system and SagePay, takes place over highly encrypted links using at least 128bit security keys.
Our servers are hosted in a Payment Card Industries (PCI) compliant data center (one of the very few around at the time of writing). Both we and our hosts take extraordinary physical and electronic measures to ensure data is kept very secure. Our servers are protected by some of the best anti-virus software and are tested at least weekly by an independent security company to ensure our services remain very secure.
We have a policy of not storing credit card details in our system (they are held encrypted in memory while the transaction is authorised through SagePay and as soon as confirmation is received, the details are deleted without anyone having seen them).
Of course, we still need to collect credit card details if you order by phone but once again, as soon as the payment is processed, the details are destroyed. We work on the principle that if we don't hold the details, no-one could ever steal them.
This all adds up to safe, trouble free shopping for you. You can review the SagePay security arrangements for your self and see the various anti-fraud measures which are put in place to keep you safe - click the image below.
