DESCRIPTION

A very positive, sunny stone, spreading light wherever it goes. It increases the sense of self-worth, and self-confidence, restores faith in luck and happiness and encourages a feelings of glowing contentment. It dispels negative feelings and helps to switch our perceptions to positive events and new perspectives, even for the most pessimistic.
A rather expensive member of the feldspar family and closely related to the 'Moonstone', the schiller in sunstone displays shards of copper colour flashes when turned in the light.
On a physical level, sunstone is believed to stimulate the body's power of self-healing, it boosts the autonomous nervous system and ensures harmonious functioning of all the body's organs. It is believed to sooth sore throats, aid stomach ulcers and lift symptoms of depression.

GENERAL NOTES
This is an expensive stone, not as readily available as some of our others, but we believe it is a wonderful stone to add to a collection and so we have sourced it at the best price we can for this grade.
