Horus (Human Form)


Horus is depicted in this figurine with a human body and the head of a hawk. In Egyptian mythology he was believed to be the son of Osiris and Isis, being magically concieved after his fathers death. As a child he represented the New Born Sun and is associated with the sun god Ra. He was so important, that Pharaohs were believed to be the human manifestation.
